Keep in mind that anyone who visits the site can see everything that is here but only "Registered Members" can add to the site. With that in mind, let's look at a few things you can do to participate on the site as a registered member.
For any of these features to work, you need to Register from the main page and then login on the main page each and every time you visit. Doing this can be a pain but it helps us identify who you are and helps greatly in keeping spam and unwanted junk from being posted to the site. Forums seem to be one of the most popular areas of interest on any hunting site. The hunting forums are a great place to learn something new, share a few things you know, or just voice your opinion on a particular topic. We all know what they say about opinions right? Who knows, you might even meet your next hunting buddy in the forums.
This is a big one! Because the site is designed for the Do-It-Yourself kinda hunter, we figured you should be able to write the articles and stories on the site as well. If you can write and send emails, you can do this. We encourage everyone to submit articles. This keeps us from having to place so called "Pro Articles" on the site. No need to worry, we edit every article for spelling, grammar and content before it is posted to the site. Your articles can be as simple as a tip that works for you in the field, a hunting story or what ever you want.
Comments At the bottom of every article you will find a place to either read or leave comments about that article. Do not hesitate to comment on the article or another comment. This is a great way to generate discussions that may not otherwise get going. (COMMENTS ARE CURRENTLY SET TO ALLOW VISITORS TO COMMENT AS WELL. ALL COMMENTS WILL BE MODERATED THOUGH.)
We want to see your photos. Don't let the title "Trophy Gallery" fool you. This is a place to upload your photos and comment on gallery sections. load em up, no hunting site is complete without member photos.
Hunting Video Clips Much like adding a photo to an article, you can also add video clips. Many people today hit the woods with a video camera in hand. With that in mind, we give you the option to upload 8mb video clips of your hunts to share with others. Other members can view your videos and comment or discuss them, creating even more topics on the site.
Keep in mind, you can return to this page any time and find other areas of interest in the left hand column of any page. Once you are logged into the site there is a navigation menu that appears only to registered members called "members Area". Here you will find links of things to do and instructions on how to do what you want. Register for free on the site today and start making it a place "For Hunters by Hunters".
